San Marzano Primitivo di Manduria 62 Anniversary

In 1962, to demonstrate the high wine potential of Salento, 19 winemakers founded "Cantine San Marzano".

62 Anniversari0 Primitivo di Manduria PDO Riservawas born to remember those important days for all of Salento. It is obtained from Primitivo grapes produced from very old vineyards of at least sixty years of age selected in the municipalities of San Marzano (TA) and Sava (TA). The vineyards grow on a terreno based on Fine-textured residual red earth with limestone substrate, sparse rocky outcrops and intense presence of iron oxides.
