Luigi Tecce Taurasi Reserve Poliphemo

Taurasi Poliphemo di Luigi Tecce comes from a vineyard that extends for just over one hectare, with plants with an average age of 80 years, located in Paternopoli di Avellino, in Campania, in the heart of the DOCG Taurasi.

It is produced with 100% Aglianico grapes, hand-picked only. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, per 40 days in open chestnut vats. The wine is then aged in tonneaux for 24 months on the noble lees before the subsequent bottling.

Taurasi Poliphemo by Luigi Tecce dresses in a beautiful ruby ​​red. The bouquet is complex and intense, with aromas of ripe plum that blend harmoniously with hints of rhubarb and white chocolate. In the mouth it is pulpy, elegant and warm, good acidity and harmony, with an austere finish.
