The varietal combination of Vertigo has a dual function. In fact, Merlot being a vine of the Friulian tradition, on the one hand it represents a sort of trait d’union between Friuli and the rest of the world. The contribution of Cabernet Sauvignon also gives the wine balance and complexity, affecting the structure and shelf life of Vertigo.
