Jermann Vinnae

Vinnae, Ribolla Gialla for the most part. It has a bright light straw color. Fruity perfume, minerals, elegant despite its peasant frankness, with dry flavor, fresh and savory. Ribolla like Riesling is one of the richest wines with excellent acidity and medium body. Ideal as an aperitif, with seafood appetizers, first courses based on fish, pleasant especially in summer for its great drinkability and freshness. With the vintage 1983, released in May 1984, we started to call our Ribolla Gialla VINNAE to remember the birth of the second son Michele and the hundred years of work and dedication to the vine and wine of five generations of Jermann who arrived in 1881 da Bilijana (now Slovenia) in the village of Villanova. From Vinnaioli then Vinnae to the Ribolla Gialla which was most cultivated by our family since the 18th century. With the vintage 2004 the label was renewed with the addition of the double-headed eagle, found on an old barrel of great-grandfather Anton, symbol of the Austro-Hungarian origins of the Jermanns, with the greeting of the cellar.
