E’ obtained with Aglianico del Vulture grapes 100% harvested in early November and fermented with long maceration. It matures for about 12 months in barriques mainly new French oak housed in the ancient tuff caves belonging to the Franciscan friars. E’ a structured and long-lived wine, with aromas of black berry fruit, licorice, fenugreek and carob. The high aromatic complexity is followed by a very long balsamic finish, supported by soft and elegant tannins. E’ characterized by aromas of black berry fruits and a licorice base, fenugreek, carrube. A well structured wine, with a high aromatic complexity.
