Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Costamolino from the Argiolas winery is a white wine produced from 100% Vermentino grapes, fruit of vineyards planted on a soil with a rather varied grain size and chemical-physical composition. The vineyards that rise in the Trexentese slope of Pranu Sturru, in the countryside of Suelli, and in that of Perda Campus in the countryside of Selegas, they enjoy the typical Sardinian Mediterranean climate, made of mild and not very rainy winters and windy and very hot summers. To make the Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Costamolino the grapes, after careful selection, they are collected exclusively by hand in the early hours of the morning; then in the cellar they are subjected to a soft pressing, then the must is cooled; follows a fermentation process in steel tanks at a controlled temperature ranging from 16 ° C ai 18 ° C, then, before being bottled, the wine undergoes a brief refinement which always takes place in steel tanks. The result is a Vermentino with a fresh and inviting flavor, a balanced and very fine wine.
